Pamela Johnson
Pamela Johnson has spent more than 44 years working nationally and internationally in the arts. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President, Development and Marketing, at OZ Arts Nashville; Vice President of Development for the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum; Director of University Marketing/Special Initiatives, Belmont University.
Before moving back to Nashville, Johnson served as Vice President for Communications and Corporate Relations at the J. Paul Getty Trust in Los Angeles; founded the public relations firm in New York City providing national and international marketing and branding for clients such as Philip Morris International, JPMorgan Chase, AT&T, a broad range of public television programs, cultural organizations, film festivals, and others. She has also worked with Serino Coyne, Inc. and Rogers & Cowan, New York City; the American Association of Museums, the Smithsonian Institution and Rogers & Cowan in Washington, D.C. Johnson served as President of the Tennessee Botanical Gardens and Fine Arts Center at Cheekwood.
Johnson’s current community activities include ongoing work and support of Nashville Repertory Theatre; W. O. Smith Advisory Council; ECON Charities Board member; and volunteer at The Frist Art Museum.
