LAST YEAR'S BROADWAY BRUNCH

Nashville Rep staged a stellar production with its debut of Broadway Brunch on May 1, 2016. More than 250 guys and dolls imbibed mimosas and bloody marys while keeping close watch over coveted items at the silent auction. The performance, a rendition of Broadway tunes by company actors, included numbers from Chicago, Sweeney Todd and Big River. Auctioneer and emcee Troy Morris led a quick game of Broadway Trivia, before holding a live auction that included a week in the Virgin Islands. After this last act, audience members agreed that the matinee was a smash hit. With a successful premiere of Broadway Brunch, it is certain that Nashville Rep will stage encore performances of this fun fundraising event. Bravo! ~ Holly Hoffman, nFocus

SHOWS AT NASHVILLE REP

Nashville Rep loves to entertain, not only at special events but onstage as well!

A RAISIN IN THE SUN

Three generations of the Younger family live in a “rat trap” of an apartment in Chicago that they’ve been renting for always. With the passing of the patriarch, a life insurance check of significant value arrives. How will the money best be spent for the benefit of the family? Whose dream gets deferred? This American classic was first produced in 1959, and was a pioneering work – the first play written by an African American woman to appear on Broadway.
